Anagram

Rearrange the 7 rack tiles to find all valid words of your chosen length. Find every word to clear the hand.

Hooks

A base word sits in the centre. Pick a tile from your rack, then tap the front (◁) or back (▷) slot to test whether it forms a valid new word.

Free

Select or drag any 2–7 tiles from your rack to build a valid word — there's no target length or word list to clear. Find as many words as you like, then deal a new hand whenever you're ready. Longer and rarer words score more points, using the same rarity tiers as the Daily Quiz.

Give Up! & Attempted Rounds

Tapping Give Up! ends the current round early. Every word you found still counts — the round is recorded as Attempted, scored as the number of words you found out of the total possible. Attempted rounds count fully toward your overall stats. There is no penalty for attempting.

Resetting Your Data

You can permanently delete all your stats, history, and word logs in ⚙️ Settings → Reset All Data. This cannot be undone. Your data is stored only on this device.

Same Tiles, Every Day

Each day a new set of 7 tiles is seeded from the date — everyone worldwide plays with the exact same rack. Results reset at midnight UTC.

How Blitz Works

Find as many valid words as you can from your 7 tiles — words of any length from 2 to 7 letters. You have 3 minutes. The timer starts when you select your first tile. The more words you find, the higher your score.

Explorer & Scholar

Choose your difficulty before each quiz. 🧭 Explorer includes Common and Uncommon words. 📚 Scholar includes Uncommon and Obscure words with higher score multipliers. Each is scored and tracked separately.

Scoring

Points are based on word rarity and length. Common words score a base amount; Uncommon words earn a bonus multiplier; Obscure words score the most. Finding rarer words is the key to a high score.

After the quiz ends, tap Submit Today's Score to appear on the daily leaderboard. Earn badges for streaks, word counts, and top rankings. View your history and badges in the 🏆 Quiz Hub.
